A Riviera, que tem a melhor onda de Bertioga além de ser a mais constante, tem 3 picos bastante definidos, o canto direito (píer), o meio da praia (na curva onde fica o módulo 2) e o canto esquerdo (módulo 8), os quais funcionam com as mais variadas direções de swell e vento.
O canto direito (píer) funciona com ondulações de leste, sudeste e sul grande, sendo que nos grandes swells as ondas atingem 8 pés ou até mais quebrando bem longe da praia. Os ventos sul, sudoeste, oeste e noroeste pegam de terral. Já os ventos sudeste, leste e nordeste são maral, enquanto o norte pega de lado no píer. A melhor maré é a média, na seca as ondas costumam fechar bastante e na cheia as ondas ficam muito gordas, mas tudo isso depende da bancada. Em dias bons, principalmente quando bate o vento sudoeste com ondulações bem definidas de leste, pode rolar uns tubos e ondas bastante longas e relativamente emparedadas, rolando tanto direitas quanto esquerdas.

Mais para o meio da praia (na curva onde fica o módulo 2, sendo este o pico mais constante da Riviera) as ondas são mais cheias e os melhores swells são os de sul e sudoeste, que funcionam com todos os tamanhos e marés, já as ondulações de leste e de sudeste deixam o mar meio mexido e com bastante correnteza. Os ventos norte, noroeste e oeste pegam de terral, mas esse pico também tolera bem o vento sudoeste e o sul de intensidade fraca a moderada. Já os ventos do quadrante leste são maral e interferem bastante na qualidade das ondas. Em dias bons (ondulação de sul com vento noroeste) as ondas podem abrir por centenas de metros tanto para a direita quanto para a esquerda, prevalecendo as direitas, proporcionando boas paredes para uma série de manobras.

Já o canto esquerdo recebe bem as ondulações de sul, sudoeste e sudeste grande, sendo a de sul a melhor delas. Os ventos leste, nordeste e norte pegam de terral. As ondas costumam ser mais cheias que as do canto direito e em dias grandes (quando pode chegar a 8 pés ou mais) quebram bem longe da praia, mas há um canal junto ao morro favorecendo acesso fácil ao outside. Assim como nos outros dois picos da Riviera, em dias bons as ondas abrem tanto para a direita quanto para a esquerda.

A Riviera é uma praia que oferece boas condições de limpeza e balneabilidade (a água é própria para banho o ano inteiro). Fora isso tem um belíssimo visual, sobretudo no canto esquerdo onde há um rio, uma ilhota e pontal de pedras que forma uma pequena baía e uma prainha. As ondulações de sul em conjunto com os ventos do quadrante sul costumam deixar a água bastante clara proporcionando diversos tons de verde (bem típicos do litoral norte de São Paulo).

Com certeza é o melhor e mais constante pico de Bertioga, haja vista que funciona com as mais variadas direções de swell e vento nos três pontos surfáveis da praia, sendo que os dias bons não são raros. Ademais, costuma oferecer condições até em dias de fortes ressacas quando praias de São Sebastião como Maresias e Camburi ficam fora de controle e outras da região ficam storm, até porque tolera bem os ventos sul e sudoeste que são maral em praticamente todas as praias do litoral norte.
