Indian Rocks Beach - I'm right down the beach at redington. whenever there is a summer storm or something then I'm out there. I love this spot. make sure to check out Island surf shop that place is amazing.

Super South Hurricane Swell - When the storm is next to Key West sending a fat swell northward it goes off. Offshores, and barrelly sections, reminiscent of Hatteras. IRB is right where the coastline is facing directly west, so the swell curls around the land perfectly. Many days out there, with less than 5 people out with sweet sections. Hurricane Dennis was the shiz.

gulf coast surf?? - hey, i am going to be vacationing with my family the end of august to st. petersburg florida. was wondering if there is any surf on that side of the state/places to rent some gear/etc. i may get to spend one night on the east coast, but it looks like most of my time will be on the gulf. i am coming from massachusetts and thought it might be fun to try surfing without 4mm of rubber on. email me back if you can, agape21@juno.com, don't know if i'll be able to find this page again.

I hate the lake right now!! - Man its driving me crazy how long its been with no swell... April was the last day to even take a board out of the closet. Still waiting for a wicked day of surf.
