 Florida

USA, Gulf Coast

On the Gulf Coast, surfers get warm water most of the year, with best surfing season during fall & winter. During urricane Season they get some smoking waves. Being the Gulf of Mexico waves depends a lot on wind swells, so the weather plays a big factor.
The Gulf produces some of the finest waves in Florida in terms of quality. But frequency is unregular. The surf spots are concentrated into two sections: the Panhandle, which runs from the Alabama border east past Dog Island until the state starts to bend; and the lower Gulf Coast, which begins more than 200 miles south in Clearwater, where the swampy shoreline finally returns to sand.

03/03/07- twinpiers really cokeyna - nice break south jettie good north jettie bigger, but glassy and off shore breeze so the waves pitched outso the tubes were good but twin breaks r 99.9% good when ever there r swells. size range.....nee to waist high.i wont lie it can get full of peeeps.
