It´s half and hour north of montañita or 20 minutes south of Puerto López. It´s in the same beach as Ayampe and Las Tunas, in the right extreme. By car you go until the town of Puerto Rico or you can also enter the town by a street next to the entrance of Alandaluz (hostal). Then go through the town and into the beach, ask for directions. There are a few private houses from people of guayaquil that come once in a while, the easiest road will be through their property but the door isn´t open always, Anyways you can access the beach by a road near to a big property or a road near a graveyard. Général

It´s pretty ordinary but sometimes you can score really good waves like in the months of dec-may. It gets really big, i´ve seen it like 3 meters plus, but just giant close outs, maybe good for tow surfing??
