English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): The wave is pretty strong when it gets big. Can get pretty hollow too. The undertow is pretty strong, but as the beach is really long, there is no problem if you get tired of paddling.
Atmosphère
English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): Really long and beautiful lenghty beach. Whales pass by in whale season veyr often. What a feeling it is to be inside the water and see the whales jumping a hundred meters away. The hostel in front of the beach "Viejamar" is owned by a chilean ex-journalist longboarder whose life has a big story to tell. I stayed there for 10 days and which I could have stayed more.

Viejamar - Stayed a couple of days in Viejamar lovely cabanas. In a very nice atmosphere and with an empty spot just 20 meters walking from our cabana. Very nice spot, best in high tight, good for long and short boards.
He had a very nice time and very cheap also.

- Fun wave with an amazing atmosphere in and outside of the water!
A very consistant spot picking up both north and south swells - if no waves here, no waves in the area! Wave works best with mid tide.
Come here to relax (no party town!) and have a good time!
