English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): This spot is not easy to find but really worth it as you'll be alone.<br />You head out of Santiago going north (bring all supplies) towards La Serena. About half way between Los Vilos and La Serena is Punta Talca. You exit the highway here and head for the coast. There are old mining roads and you will see old wooden mining structures. At the coast head south for about 30 minutes. The only road along the coast will bring you to the bluff and you can see the wave. English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): This place is super consistent. I've never seen it flat or unsurfable in 10 trips to this area. I've also never seen anyone else besides who I brought. It's a totally fun wave with totally rippable sections and some pretty decent tubes at right tide and swell angle.
Atmosphère
English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): This whole area is wide open and gets tons of swell. It gets pretty cold in the winter, June, July, August and BIG surf. You need to bring all your supplies and plan on camping. This is truly one of the last frontiers where you can just pull up and surf. A few spots in this area require a hike but not far. I've got more photos buried somewhere of other spots in the area. If I dig them out I'll post with some info. Seek and ye shall find.

Bad luck!! - The lasy guy who posted had some bad luck. I surfed some awesome waves in this area. 2 out of 5 days were windy but everyday the mornings were good.surf never got under 4' and we had 2 days of 8' -10'. No one else around. This whole area felt sharky, like a lot of places with good surf. I was bummed to leave but we ran out of supplies. Frontier surfing at it's best. Not many areas like this left.
