English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): Known as Pine Trees in the '70s, it has always been a great place for friends to gather, featuring plenty of parking, a decent sandbar and a pavilion with picnic tables, showers and bathrooms. The wave is usually peaky and fun, provided there is a bit of a swell. Many families from near and far gather here daily and for the weekends to enjoy Mother Nature and the facilities, courtesy of the United States of America.

visited - Surfed here summer'04, was fun when it wasn't too small. my local buddies showed the best spots, here and 2ndlight. great place to surf naked!

Goodstuff - The surf is fun. The laid back atmoshphere gives off good vibes. It's ususally a hott spot for all us locals on saturday and sunday, but watch out for all those tourists. If you want to avoid these "out-of-towners", 2nd light is only a hop, skip, and jump away.

Awsome memories - Belive it or not I scored the best small barrel of my life here on a small swell. Waist high maybe. Caught the begining of the wave and kinda slipped down it and was immediatly in a barrel on a knee and a shin. GOT FULLY BARRELED for the entire lenghth of the wave. Compact INSIDE THE WAVE the entire time. BOTH My 2 frinds were paddling back out from the shore and saw me. The lip was hitting right next to my rail out in front the entire time and I stayed inside the barrel RIGHT UNTIL the end before it pinched came out clean and stood up on the beach. Last place in the world I'd ever think this would happen. I'm talking a full 11 seconds ON THE CLOCK on a very small day. BEST SMALL BARREL OF MY LIFE.
