You will rarely see anyone here. Very, Very few people know about this spot. Its very fun to take a boat off of Gooches Rock beach and ride straight to the island about 1/2 of a mile and anchor your boat and paddle into one of the best waves in Maine. Most amazing surf spot in Maine.

presidential surf sites - T.I. is a bicycle ride away from Pres.s Bush in Kennebunkportl Lowers ( trestles ) is near the nixon white house. Coincidence? I think not. It kinda reminds me of Chicama in Peru...sandy bottom, walk back, And I get to surf it just about as often. M.J. Arizona

This place is sick! - This place actually breaks, it needs a significant se swell and nw wind and it is extremely fun. once you get up the wave rolls fown the island and there is about two sections that you can barreled. This is a real sick wave.

YANKS TALKING BULLSHIT!!! - PLEASE DONT MAKE ME WET MY PANTS! PRO'S OR KAMAKAZIS, VERY CONSISTENT, WHAT A BLOODY JOKE. YOU COMPARING THIS TO THE BIG GUNS IN AUSTRALIA AND SOUTH AFRICA!!?? STOP SMOKING CRACK! THERE ARE NO WAVES LOIKE TGHIS IN MAINE OR ANYWHERE ON THE EAST COAST BUT KEEP DREAMING!
