Go down Cape May beach avenue(the street in front of the beaches) 2nd to last beach. In between two jettys.
Take the New Jersey parkway (if you don't know how to get to the parkway that just sucks) all the way to the bottom you'll be in Cape May follow the signs to beachdrive (parallel to the beach itself) third street from the south end look for the street sign.
ED:Cape may is the very beginning of the parkway. When in Cape May, Broadway is towards the end (SW) of town, about a block down from the cove. Ask someone if you can't find it, it's pretty easy.

Informations supplémentaires
Very hollow powerful wave. Only rideable on special days, but when it's on, it's on. Great for skimboarding and bodyboarding. Stay in between the two jettys. The next beach to your left is "vaccums".
In the summer (memorial day - labor day) the lifeguards won't let surfboards in the water(9:00am-5:30) bodyboarders only it's not worth going unless there is a storm or some good winds check that out before you come. Summer- always crowded if it is a nice day sun hot ect. You won't find a parking spot within 10 mins of the beach in mid day.
ED : On a typical NE swell with ENE to N winds, there will be mellower lefts off the jetty which turns into the main stretch of good peaks (right in front of the building). Farther down towards the cove it breaks shallower, hollower, but with more closeouts. If you are feeling crazy/downright loony, directly in front of the jetty is a sometimes teahupo'o style barell breaking just about on the rocks. When it is over chest high, it can become dangerous to those who are inexperienced, so don't be stupid and paddle out if you can't handle a steep drop followed by a hard bottom turn.
oh yea, good luck finding a parking lot within a 5-10 minute walk in the summer. Bring your quarters

Atmosphère
Can be very fun. It's surfable most of the time. Great for aerials. Usually pretty empty. You should'nt need to worry about locals that much.
ED :
On a good noreaster, there's a good chance you will be sharing waves with 50+ other guys. There tends to be more guys at Broadway now because of the recent crappyness of Poverty beach. Overall it is a mellow lineup with a good surfer/sponger ratio & community.

Général
It can be really fun. Don't go when it gets too far overhead, because it can be dangerous.
on regular days it's pretty much horrible. Over the winter 03-04 erosion took over and now its totally shorebreak but if you catch it when the wind is blowing right the waves will pull back and it will be ok. Still nothing great though.
ED: On a hard northeast wind, cape may can be the only wave surfable for miles and miles

a lot has changed - This break has suffered from years of beach replenishment and now is only rideable on a big swell.
