English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): one of the better waves in montauk---the map on this site got it ass backwards---its the furthest west break and it is the first break not the last---imagine all the spots and reverse it and thats it---except turtles and alamo

Sharks along LI coast - Keep telling yourself your alone in the lineup. Denial is a powerful and sometimes comforting force. I would base your no-sharks conclusion on fact rather than wishful thinking. The sharks (bulls, tigers, threshers, browns, and the occasional whites) are there. Take a ride in a chopper over the area in late August or early September. It might change your mind.

no sharks? - LI has no ecosystem for sharks? I live 60 miles west of montauk and I have seen plenty of seals and sharks. Don't try to comfort yourself.
