Informations supplémentaires
The locals ride this spot like a bike with training wheels so keep cool and casual. Talk story with them. A good personality always drives a good session so go out there with respect. Parking is up to you because you'll be walking anyway. Just park where you think you'll increase your chances of not having your vehicle broken into. You can either paddle from the beach which takes about 10 minutes or you can walk out to the point and jump off the rocks (not recommended if you don't know what you're doing).

Atmosphère
Very beautiful scenery with the Waianae Range in full view looking toward the beach. The point grabs swells from the south and northwest. When a huge northwest wraps to the point, the wave is a monster. The channel the wave breaks towards allows huge lefts of immense proportions to roll in off deep water onto a shallow shelf with fast and ledgey sections. It rarely ever closes out. A big northwest also allows the wave to wall up and can produce a pretty damn long left. During south and southwest swells the point shows the same face but at a smaller scale, and less powerful.

Général
Lahilahi Point is a spot people rarely check when the waves are up, and I should kill myself after submitting this. Many locals know that this is one of the best lefts on the west coast of Oahu and make good use of it when the waves are pumping. I've seen this place break 12-15 feet and holding with no closeout sets with only two nutcases out. Don't go out if you don't know what you're doing. The wave is fricken powerful, even at 3 feet! There are days when you can catch this place epic with no one out. Just keep checking and you'll get it so good you'll call it your favorite spot. Watch for sharks. Trust me, I've seen them at a few sessions.

cheese - This place sucks, unless you like fat lefts that is. And why do people post on here pretending to be from 'da westside'? Have you been to the westside? it's full of ice smoking sketchy gangsta's who wouldn't know what the f**k the internet is!
