really? - bird rock/ship rock/the reef with the green light can actually break? i've always wondered about that. big fish out there though. did it look good at all, or just a big mushball? they look like they'd go on a huge NW....

IDIOTS , LOCALS ONLY , GROW UP, ENOUGH WITH THE SHARK REMARKS - Sharks are everywhere. For you wana be "locals" in Catalina, waves are for everyone. If you concider yourself a local surfer on the island , i feel sorry for you. The island is full of mexicans anyways. All these posts about sharks are to scare people. Longboards can be ridden at this spot , you just have to know how to ride the nose. Peace on , and locals, get a life.
