English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): Fun spot most of the year.South swells can be fun when the water is warm but tends to get crowded. Lots of locals lay claim to this treasure but few of them will ever speak their mind. Stay away from the big bad a#$ named ju@#an.

VBWL - Gets good, but rarely - Like most of Venice, its a long wait until its good. When its on though, there's no need to go anywhere else. I've surfed it on occassion, but rarely as good as the pictures (and I've lived here my whole life). In the late 80s we used to hit it often (e.g., Tonan (my brother), Greg, Avery, Jesse and company)but eben then it was fickle. If visiting, don't wait or you'll be totally frustrated.

rarely - Only seen it look like the pictures once or twice and I lived right there at navy and the beach for 5 years. It's not a bad place to learn though when it's small and not a sucking closeout.
