The pipe isn't as full on as it's sister Thurso east but it's still quite a nice wave.
There are a few boulders lying around but don't worry to much about them as the kelp stops you from hiting them. The wave can peak in 2 places it just depends on the swell direction.

There's a mellow left hander and a full on right hander cold water and don't let the name put you off as it's not as bad as it sounds.

It's got a local crew so most of the time you have the wave not too crowded but always respect the locals!

Its more of a deep water spot so the hold downs can be longer than a similar sized wave at Thurso East. (Because theres not as much slab to slow it down. It can get fairly heavy at bigger sizes.
