serious waves - when the waves hit 12ft your in for some serious surfing!!!!!

- Not as good as it's made out to be. Locals hogg the waves and give you grief for paddling out. wouldnt wasnt my petrol again traveling to the dump. !!!!!!!!

boundaries - good waves, specially at night. if you want a good spot head down the beach away from the pier (to the left). Anywhere between there & Sandsend has swell most of the time though take into consideration the tide. If your too lazy to explore down the beach, surfing the pier is standard but be reasonable with the locals. Also stay at the Avalon hotel, if you travel from far, Charlie (if hes still running it) is a really chilled out guy & makes a mouth watering breakfast.
