This place has to be seen to be believed. The reef is a part of an anticline in hard sandstone which has made this arm of rock stick out into deep water. It looks like a destroyed harbour wall. The more westerly the swell is the more it will peel down the point giving longer rides. When the swell has a bit of north in it, the quality of the wave will be reduced. The wind if any further north than westerly will blow it to bits and it will be rubbish.
