wat a buzz - man when you catch this wave you get a buzz but i hate this spot

VVF - VVF means "Village Vacances Families" and it's the name of the right peak at "la piste plage".
I've been surfing there last week and it wasn't always big and glassy enough to say it has been great surfing anyway the last two days waking up very early and getting in the water at 7.00 am with upcoming tide it was really amusing and waves we catched were glassy and long enough for fun rides even for a longboard.
Behind the dunes and close enough to the beach (10 minuts of stroll) there's a camping "La Civelle" it's a three stars camping, not expensive (19 euros for a placement for a tent fro two persons and electricity), just outside the camping a lot of markets and 5 minuts by car from Capbreton center.

la piste - i arrived in capbreton 6 weeks ago and as i'm working here all summer i nearly surf the spot every day if the swell is up. i can't really remember hearing any local or surfer in general arguing, never had any problems even if i dropped in someone's wave once or twice. friendly atmosphere, cool spot, good waves, easy access...i love it! and hey...yesterday was a f***in' good session out there - in middle/end of july!

aggro in the line up?? - I just came back from a very quick four day trip and had a coupl of days with nice clean surf. It was not big but it was my first time there and I thought it was great. I paddled into the line up on teh first day, there was about 25 people in the water spread over two different peaks. I said Hello to everyone as I paddled into the lineup and had no prblems at all. Got quite a few waves and had a great time. The water was not cold and was nice and clean. My home breaks are all reefs so it was nice to surf some nice sandy beach breaks!!!

i think that youll find that there are waves in july. - i have been surfing there for the past 10 days (or around it) but i have to say this was where the best waves where in the capbretton/hossegor area. better than estangnots every day, and it got big a couple of days ago- bout 8 foot with clean barrels and fast.well worth the trip i would say. hope to go back in october coz itll hopefully b even better. as for the crowds, just look before you drop in.all you gotta do.peace out.
