English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): Take the small city of Audierne, direction Sainte Evette harbor, the Lifeboat station or the office where you can board to go to Sein island.
Then park the car in front of the Lifeboat station; walk on the jetty and look right : there is a little island (on high tides only)and if there are waves, you'll see them from there.
Get there by foot and enter the water by the left side of the island, then pass the waves by the left side again.
Looks a bit complicated but if you get there, you'll understand fast.
You can also get there by boat, from Audierne or Sainte Evette harbors, but make sure you anchor the boat in a safe place...
And DO KEEP a pilot in it. English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): This is a secret spot for everybody : please do not come with more than three or four friends.
Smile, say hello to the locals and it will be OK.
Do NOT drop in on other surfers !!!
When the swell is solid from SW or W, take a look and watch the locals BEFORE gettig in the water.
Maybe you should not surf if it's your first time here and if you haven't seen anybody surf it.
SHALLOW WATERS and powerful wave after the take off. If it happens, DO NOT FALL HEAD FIRST, even if you wear a helmet.
Atmosphère
English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): This island receives the main currents from the Audierne bay and all the floating wrecks can come around.
Lifeguards come here to look for shipwrecks (even dead bodies) after big gales. It doesn't happen frequently but just look around, too...just to make sure.
If you don't surf, come here on big gales : the waves can raise before the jetty and collapse on the Lifeboat station (that's a 12 meters distance!).
DO NOT walk on the jetty with such weather : drown or nearly drown tourists happen several times a year.
Général
English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): Nice place to surf and not too much surfers in the water (exept on weekends and holidays).
It's a technical wave thought, and you should learn from wathing the locals first.
After your session, take a hot coffee at a bar called "Le Roulis" (600 meters back to Audierne); it is a fisherman's bar and Audierne lifeguards (real ones, not the BayWatch shit!) come here to have a drink. Just be nice, smile and ask them about their job; you will learn a lot about the ocean and about some surf spots around...i know, i worked with them.

Love (, peace, happyness) & "YIP!-YIP!" - I just love Lervily. We first visited the area in 1998.I can imagine some spots are now getting a little crowded once in a while. (You should come and have a look at our local spots, hmnah?... From riding allone to maximum eight guy's out 20 years ago, to now sometimes f***'n 80 'people'in the lineup! And we still show respect to eachother. You give..., you get. And you get what you give.Damn! That's real 'Zen"). Our group of friends from Amsterdam tend not just to show/give and in doing so, get R.E.S.P.E.C.T., but also prefere the tranquillity that we think surfing is about. The absolute advantage of Brittany, is that you can allways find a tranquill wave... Merci!(So don't give me this macho "not welcome" b.s.!!Should we send all French coffeeshop visitors in the city i was born & raised in back to where they came from?... Right!)Our expirience with the locals at all South-Brittany spots are good. All Brittany locals are welcome on all 'our' local-spots.Like the Brittany locals tend to say when you are about to go for it; "YIP!-YIP!"...Greetings, Ruben. L8r!

arf ! arf ! - Lervily ? a secret spot ? please open your eyes! it's well known from now. There's no crowd because it's a dangerous spot. I'm not from this area but I will come there when I want anytime. I will respect 'locals' (- definition ? -) of course but I will surf.
