Guidel..Not bad for Summer. - Just got back from 3 weeks in France, and was quite lucky I think to catch the tail end of the one of the hurricane's coming over from the US.. As a result and as the chap below said, I got a good 3 or 4 days of constant 4 to 5 foot swell. I found the locals to be fine. Except the bodyboarders who were mostly in their mid teens and showed no regard for any rules, as a result I got hit by a bodyboarder, and also hit one of them...

i love france - guidel has nice waves aslong as you decide to surf during a storm,big waves are scarce unless you have a strong offshore wind otherwise i would travel 1/2 an hour to quiberon, i have surfed some massive waves in quiberon when guidel was completely flat.lovin it.

guidel is a very good spot for longbarding - guidel is a very good spot for longbarding : three different beach and a beautiful flat reef...it was very good for me : i could tube for my first time : fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!
