 Accès

From Brest city, take road N12, exit at Morlaix and follow direction Lanmeur on road D786. Turn left direction D64 toward Locquirec. BE AWARE of other drivers, this road may be dangerous : locals drive slowly, there's not much place to overrun and farming engines can surprise you at any turn or crossroad ! Once you are at Locquirec, take city center, follow the coastal road toward "Les Sables Blancs" cove, which will be on your right.
Park the car, you're arrived !

 Informations supplémentaires

Works mostly in winter because the place (as most of North Britanny) needs BIG swells to break a little bit... Stay aware of swell predictions and when the swell gets over 2.5 / 3m, you might have a look. Most of the time it is a shore break wave, amusing only if you have nowhere else to go. Though, if you're not staying around, you should try your local breaks instead of coming here... BUT if you hear about 4+ meters W or NW swell and S wind, come take a look at the BEGINNING of rising tide. Then, it is not a shore break wave anymore and you could get some pretty nice tubes (yes, absolutely : nice tubes, in North Britanny !).Just avoid to get close to the cliff : there's rocks !

Atmosphère

Very mellow ! Locals surfers are pleased to welcome new comers, although they might tell you 6 meters waves can break there. In case of real big waves anyway, you all should move to "Beg Léguer" (described on this very web site). That one can get big !

Général

When you're not that far, it might be a good idea to get there and not forget the board. But it's definitely not "the place to be" when it happens. If you can, also bring your mountain bike and curve the coastal path (beware of others, especially when going down !). Nice place to go with your family and if you can sail, the bay of Lannion is there, just for you.

Une solution - We have to be a country of our own

De anonymous , 23-08-2005

relax!! - I'm from belgium and i come several times to bretagne during the year. The people are very relaxed and here you find the beauty of nature and the kindness of the people. That's what surfing about!! Stop behave as idiots and respect every surfer here. Waves here ar not always that good but the atmosphere is the best of the world. Especially in Loki! If you think bretange is a shitty place, go to biaritz where you belong between the dirt and the oxbow t-shirts!!!!!
