English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): Steep sharp underwater rocks almost everywhere, even in deep places. Only a very narrow corridor in between them. At least in winter almost no waves ever. For body-boarders at its best. Staying here the entire winter I only say a few kids bodyboarders couple times. No surfers ever.

A great place to start surfing, so did I ! - Las Galletas : the place where I learned to surf in 1990. Very nice place - small fishermans town, and very goog spot for beginners or intermediate surfers, with smooth, gentel and generally not to big waves (1m to 1,5m). The peak is easy to locate, and around there are no waves, so it is easy to go back at the peak after surfing your wave.Just look out at the end of the surf, for some ondeep rocks. Some times a bit crowed but essentially kids with bodyboards or small surfboards. If you are there with a longer board, let some waves for the ohter surfers, bodyboarders. Most waves in the summer period (south swells), less waves in the winter. In my view it is a good spot for malibus and lonboards for adults, and for bodyboards or small surfboards for young kids.Aloha !
