 Informations supplémentaires

Tiberon (located half a click north of Milagro) is a longer more rounded classic sand bottom point set-up. This wave works well given any southerly swell direction (south through southwest) consistently providing rides in the 150 -200+ yard range. Given the nature of a long point break these waves are well suited to a full range of surf abilities from beginner to advanced. Prevailing weather conditions see glassy mornings or possible off-shore winds with onshore west/southwest winds picking up late morning to early afternoon.

I was told of a story of a Bull shark living at this break, hence the name "Tiburon". Ive heard the shark came up to a surfer (whom i talked to) to check him out, but left him alone once he realized the surfer probably wouldn't taste fishy enough. I haven't seen it and I live right by the spot and surf it once a week. I'm not scared of it although the story does mess with my mind every once and a while when I'm sitting alone out there waiting on a set (which is not long).

De Brody , 01-06-2010

Another great wave lost to GREED - Was there last week during a solid 10 foot swell. There was not a single soul out, and was able to catch only one wave. But upon my return to the beach, was swiftly informed by Jeff, the owner of Cardon Surf resort, that i could not surf there unless a paid him to stay at his resort. Consider that all beach and water in mexico is public land. So what Jeff is doing amounts to outright piracy. But of course in mexico, if you have a some money, its easy to get the law on your side, which he has apparently done. He told us to beat it and never come back or he would break our boards, vandalize our car, or have us arrested. Wow! So if you're a kook and pay him $1100 for the week you can surf milagro & tiburon, but if you're a real surfer who navigated dirt roads to get there, you will be blocked. It truly saddens me to see such a violation of the surfer's code. Not to mention Jeff is a GRINGO. So he's not only stealing waves from fellow gringo's, but the locals who call that place home. I say boycott Cardon, and if you're a local mexican surfer, you should give Jeff a piece of your mind.
