"punta bamba" or "bamba" - for what its worth I tried to ad this spot on wannasurf. its actually called "bamba or Punta Bamba" its a jetty type wave. fun but not great. much better waves down in salina cruz. this wave is kinda "phat" and slow but can throw or be rippable depending on the tide. there are lots of rocks inside the takeoff area and any more than 3 or 4 guys at this place on a small day is lame. This place seemed to always have something to ride though, even when the points in town where flat this place would be waist high or so. overall its totally worth a surf though and there is lots of footage of pros surfing this place online. anyway if you are in oaxaca this place is not hard to find. the sign says "bamba" in big words off the highway. also its not one of those "off limits" point waves like there are in salina cruz town area so if its smallish and you have a car come check this place out.
