English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): Not easy. Mexico 1 past the turn off to Punta Baja in El Rosario. Go about 22 kilometers and look for a dirt road turning off to the right. Getting there is almost instinctual. Roads change with rains as does quality. 2 hour drive on dirt road to get to the points. There is a small fishing village at the base of the point. 4X4 best in rainy season. English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): A series of right points with prevailing wind side/offshore. Popular with windsurfers. There is a short shouldered left off of a peak at the top of the point, powerful. Reefs at the top that can be more consistent than the point itself on winter swells with lefts and rights. Camping only...no facilities, typical Baja experience. Wave is not fast and not very hollow but fun and long with juice at size. Some reef breaks north of the point about 5K. Lefts and rights. The reefs blow out on NW winds.
Atmosphère
English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): Beautiful desert mesas dropping into the sea. The local fisherman are good people and may want to trade lobster and huge crabs for old clothes, cigs or booze. Bring down some warm clothes for them. You will be smiling after you start eating that lobster followed by a Caguama of Carta Blanca.
Général
English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): Not the best point break in Baja, certainly not the easiest to get to but worth the drive if you are doing an extended stay down there. Never crowded, plus plenty of room for everyone. A wave field.

- This whole stretch of coast on that dirt road sucks. I have gone down there over 30 times hoping to score and havie never even come close. I would strongly advise staying away from this stretch of coast coast.

Pt San Carlos - Been going there for 7 years primarily to windsurf, but have scored many sweet surf sessions. Check the swell forecast before you go, it works best on a West or Southwest but basically holds any type of swell. Long and mushy fun. Here some video of our trip in 2006. We spent the majority of our time surfing, not windsurfing.
