Enter Baja thru the SanDiego border. I dont know the exact kl maybe k62 but its just North of the popular golf course BajaMar. You'll find a harbour there. Get in your boat and head south 5 minutes. Look at the landscape closely upon entering and you will notice the silhouhete looks like the nose of an alligator. At the tip of the nose is this amazing wave. For the most surfable part without risking injury, surf the inside boil.

This wave is primarely a tow wave. You can paddle it but I seriosly recommend if you do, have a safety team such as a waveruner ready to save your but before you hit the cliff. Do not surf the first wave,trust me.

This area of Baja is loaded with surf. Its no secret that spots around Gators have been surfed since the fifties. Althogh, Gators is an exception because there have been no roads to it and you can not see it from any viewpoint. I will admit there is a dirt road to the point but to access the wave from there you must repell from climbing ropes and be prepared to climb up. Boat access is a must. Thanks to a new harbour we spotted this wave. To the normal person it looks unridable beacause of the cliffs but to most of us its perfect.

I feel uneasy about exposing a secret wave, but maybe most of you felt the same way as I do when you posted these uncomfotable answers to something special. I hope the surfers who read this respect where Im coming from. Aloha Je.

Eiber - GATORS WENT HUGE. Too big almost, reminded me of the bra boys ours. Unless you wanted to get gouged by the rocks and have a hole in your neck from the impact you were better off at the beachbreak or Todos. This wave requires a big board and big balls. I hope to see one of you guys charge it and photo it. I hope im there to surf it with you. Im thinkinking of leaving my climbing rope so you can repell. Go on a tide going low. It seems to be safer.

blah - The area its in is called Ursula Galvan. My family has a house there, we've been buying lobsters off the boats for years. I've seen this break a few times as a kid and never saw anyone out surfing it -- always dreamed about it though. Granted this was the late 80's early 90's, so that may have had something to do with it. Im amazed to see people actually charge this spot. Just knowing this has somehow vicariously fulfilled a childhood dream. That is f--king awesome!
