Same direction to Corralillo but instead of keep going to the left up to the last beach just make a right a the first beach, once there you will find the break at the right end of the beach by the jetty (very near the dock). Get the rights otherwise you will find yourself riding waves on the rocks. Public access but you will have to ask the dock guard for permition to get the dirt road to the beach (no cars allowed to get in, you have to walk). Leave your car at the entrance parking lot. You can also get a boat ride from Caldera Beach for about $3 per head.

El hoyo - Esta playa queda en Puntarenas detras del puerto de Caldera, la primera foto definitivamente es el hoyo, atras de la ola se ve el malecon, con las otras tres si tengo mis dudas.
Es cierto que la ola es derecha, pero dependiendo de como este la marea y el tamaño de la ola puedes surfearla hacia la izquierda, eso si teniendo mucho cuidado de no ir a parar a las piedras del malecon.
Es un excelente lugar para bodyboarding, creo que en Costa Rica no hay ola mas rapida y fuerte que el hoyo, es un pico impresionante, y cuando esta realmente grande hay que tenerle mucho rspecto.

pic 1,2,&4 not el hoyo - Pic 3 is definitly el hoyo the others are of the small jetty by the bridge in front of the restaurant about a mile north of el hoyo. Also its not in guanacaste.
