English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): This spot can be quite heavy with waves double overhead common (in big south swells only). When its really cranking you can sit 50 metres out from the point. Be careful not to get caught inside as it wraps back in against the point and drags hard.(not really) I have seen many snapped boards and hurt bodies.(japanese) The take off is awesome followed by a massive wall which effortlessly throws over your head.<br /><br />I suggest if there are any others out, just watch at first to get an idea how it breaks.

Is world class - Not epic true. But would rate as world class. I surfed this seven times over two week period September last year at between double and triple overhead. Some Hawaiian dudes from the North Shore described "like Piepline but a bit shallower". Compares to Outide Indicators and Manu Bay ledge (at low tide)at Raglan NZ (my local) Not as long as Rags but far, far more powerful and scary bits of brain coral stick up which are much shallower. Not for the faint hearted at size - take a 7'4" or bigger.

not totally epic... - I dont think this is a world class wave. The end bit is fair from perfect... much like many Samoan waves. You can still get a sick one out here, no doubt, but I wouldnt give it more than 3 stars...
