English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): Perhaps the best section of Raglan - long regular walls power down the line when the swell is up. Chose carefully your entry point, and be prepared to paddle to stay in the line-up. Worth evey last drop of effort.
Atmosphère
English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): The wave breaks in two sections, an outside hollow fast section and an inside section that walls up superbly.
When its good there is always some crowd there. On weekdays at certain times it may be uncrowded.

Photo 1 - Sorry boys...but photo 1 is Indicators!!!...it is a mixture of a west south west swell with a NE cross offshore wind on it, you can generally tell by the lumps on the face...the two guys paddling out are really paddling for safety as they have been caught out by a set surfing in the valley...the the guy surfing is comming through to the valley...the wave out the back has already hit Indies and started to come through the box section then through to the valley...it is breaking wide due to the fact it is a big size swell and has west in it...it is also a day or two after a storm as the water is murky from the rain run off and the stirring of the swell
