 Informations supplémentaires

As this is pretty much the same for all of eastbourne you can use this a guide for the area.
Eastbourne is made up of a number of point and beach breaks. They only work in a huge southerly swell, which usual means strong onshore winds.
The area is sheltered by a number of hills which block the wind. The swell wrapes around giving you a reasonable wave to surf when everything else is maxed out. I would imagine this would be a great place to surf when there is no wind. Rear for Wellington.

Atmosphère

One other bit of information I forgot drive to the end of eastbourne, just before you get to the end of the road, there will be a large rock. This is one of the waves. Keep traveling around and there will be a car park. From there grab your gear and start walking till you find somewhere you like. Walk no longer then 1 hour because it will get rather exposed and there will nothing worth surfing around that far anyway.

Général

If you really need a surf badly, when it's a storming outside from the south. This is the place to go. As the weather is more often than not, crap when it's on you should'nt have any problems with crowds.

lets be honest - Ha ha hee hee

Calm down - Far out, its not really a big deal to compare Eastbourne to the corner. Why get so protective of the corner? It is shit - nothing special even when it fires either. Don't go mouthing off about people not having enough surf experience cos it looks like somebody hasn't even seen or surfed good waves. Get out more.

De LETS BE HONEST , 30-05-2006

no comparison - anyone who has even the smallest amount of surfing experience would not try & compare eastborne to THE CORNER. two different waves one which really does get good & some others that you surf when everything else is blown out but are pretty much novelty waves. to compare the two is insulting to the inconsistent but many leagues above Eastborne, THE CORNER. you can only stretch the truth so far no matter how much you love Eastborne. ITS NOT A SURF SPOT!
