puss? - who ever rekons it is puss must have surfed it on the wrong swell or tide. makka point a.k.a trestles is one of the best waves in n.z.

old folk - basically the retirement village of the gisborne surf scene, old men on big boards in the twilight of their surfing years moaning about "back in the day" the exception being john gisby, an old man on a short board, but for how much longer....?
