 Informations supplémentaires

The wall is a small wedge in the north suburbs of Perth. It wedges because of a groyne/breakwall on tha north side. The south west swell hits it and bounces back forming a nice little wedge. This place only works in a BIG swell, but even then it's only 3-4ft. If ya go out a bit further in a big swell you can ctach a biger wave with a nice longish ride. If not hang around the pipes and wait fer the wedge. Its a short but quick ride mainly going right, but ya can go left and wait fer the double up to come over the top of ya....but dont go too far left into the rocks ! This place is very shallow and a piss easy paddle from shore, great for beginners. I have seen/rode it around 5ft on a 3.5m swell once, it was good, yesterday i went with a 3m swell and it was 3-4ft but packed with shitloads of loittle beginners snakin around me, b4 they got there i had a good surf

Atmosphère

I think its pretty good and fun, to try new moves etc. Specially of that wedge on a good day. If its to bad, go for an extra 15min drive south along the coast were you find Trigg Beach, which should be braking alright!

Change - I am interested if anyone has noticed changes to this beach over recent years.
As a teenager this spot broke frequently in late autumn.
Seems the shape of the shore line has changed slightly (more sand built up along wall) since more stone was add to wall near shoreline.
Seems Trigg has also changed for the worse...

wall is shit - i live down the road, whenever we get a massive storm ie gale force plus winds for 3 days il check the wall, in that time its only been really surfable 2 times and had potential for a booga a few more but needless to say if you want to surf the wall you need howling nw winds, if the winds are wnw or w it will be shit cause that will blow the wave to shreds as it will only break if there is gale force winds. You need a max five metre swell and time your surrf with high tide as that allows maximime swell to wrap into the wall. If all these occur chances of it being surfable are minimal but you can always try cause my one surf out there was actually awsome not in the quality of the waves but just surfing there and having fun with mate. But seriously if your considering the wall drive five mins up the coast to gravis or watermans they are better in an howling onshore and will always be 3-4 footy bigger than the wall as they are not as crowded as the wall

big - drove past the ocean the other week when there was a force 10 gale to see how mad the sea was. The open ocean was horrendous but down on the wall there were a couple of groms dropping into some fine looking barrels. Just goes to show that this spot does have its good points. Those groms got kegged bigstyle.......
