English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): Its a very good spot for beginners and surfers that dont want to surf the big swells that roll in at torquay point. But it's hard to try not to hit any one on the holidays it's ultra ultra crowded. If you try this spot i might be down there.

It can explode. Honest. - To most, Torquay front is a beach only known to be inhabited by half of Melbourne's f*#@ing toddlers and families in the every Summer, as well as the occasional ancient paddler with his finger to far up his ass to charge Bell's & Winki. However, for the lucky ones... this break can be the best in Victoria. It was the Winter of 73', torrential thunder storms which carried 100km gales rivaling a god damn hurricane had scared off every gibbon on the coast. Juc was peaking 12ft bombs... Torquay wasnt much better, so me and my brother Mick, thought wed give the next beach along the coast a sneaky look in a desperate search for sets... all of a sudden we lay witness to waves so clean that theyd rival the indo. We shared this break for 4 hours with no one else but some old bloke on a knee-board. Consistent 6ft clean walls all arvo.. Mick even got barreled which is almost unheard of. Honest. That night, we met up with a mate of mine from the East coast, a kamikaze by the name of Marquew, who was famous around Quarintines and Spooks at that time, and lit up a doob in a cave just off Bird Rock while watching the storm explode...
