this spot is awesome...you dont even hav to paddle that far out...its so sucky making it a mad break for bodyboarders...sick shoreys..... just have fun its a really fun break with usually no crowd

good waves....locals are pretty laid back. the atmosphere in the line up is great usually just you and a few on a normal day but can get crowded on weekends and on good days and all locals are usually nice and will talk with ya. does it get any better ? thick lips, long walls,hollow pockets and crystal clear water mark this as one of the top surf spots in the world.thread island style pits all day then catch a feed of fresh fish in the lagoon for dinner!

this is the best spot i've ever surfed..i also recomend coalcliff reef round the corner. It can get ridicously good with a dredging shory and good banks out the back. care must be taken as the tremendous power of this joint is not to be taken lightly. i am an experienced slasher and can genuinely say this is the best break between coalcliff and bulga.respect the locals.aloha

blow in 5minute pretenders - stanwell has around 3 hours of half decent waves annually the surf is not far from terrible blow in locals are common and a bunch of suss wanna be's but look out for googsy and pez.w they cane it ay yeah themselves

- the other day we were surfin out northern end. there was a sick right bank and it just sucks up so much that u just need to stall a little bit and u get a hallow pit.yeah now its gone with the big swell.but it will get better

Stanny - surf was sick. this morning. it was awesome. gotta see some more girls out there though/ there was only like 6 girls out there. come on! the waters not that cold!glassy, nice atmosphere. NO violence what so ever to that idiot who wrote that comment before. ITS THE BEST PLACE TO LIVE IN THE SOUTH COAST. Stannie Represent
