This was a temporary pier set up to lay the deep sea sewer release approx 400m south of Gallows. The pier was in place for approx 18 months and has been on 18/01/2005.
They would dredge the sand from the coffer dam set up under the pier and as the sand spewed out over the sides of the pier it created a great bank.
