Atmosphère
What s intersting is that you are ALONE in the water or 3 guys the day it s full !!! Good atmosphere near the fishermen. They are curious and let you do. First spot near Malibu Resort and many others along the road. Big beach,little waves all along, quiet, easy access, local people working... very nice felling.

Not the spot of the year but a small place to see if you are in Vietnam. Good little waves and lonely beach. You can rent boards in JB's shop or Malibu in the 'tourist center' or drink, sleep, eat in this aera.

Best place to rent a board - I searched MuiNe high and low for a good board at a decent price and found that Kite-n-Surf on Hon Rom beach is the best bet. It also happens to be right in front of the best surf spot so no lugging around your board (scooter racks are a rarity). Go north down the strip and through MuiNe town, straight at first stop light, left at roundabout, straight again at second stop light, turn in the driveway about 100m on your left They have NSP epoxy boards of all sizes. If you want to pay a little more for a fibreglass board check out Jibes (either location), somr of them are spanky new. Dont bother with Storm surfshop, they wont let you take the board off the beach in the heart of MuiNe resort area and there is only closeout beach break. Rip Curl shop said they only have longboards, but I didnt look at their sticks. Everywhere else I tried either gave blank stares when asking to rent a surfboard, or when to their phone to dial a "friend" to earn some comission.
