Although badly damaged by the tsunami the Wijiya Beach Cottages have rooms available and the boys are busy getting their lives back together. There are a couple of bars along this stretch but before the wave came the one at the cottages was the one to watch the sunset from.

For Sri Lanka this is about as convenient as it gets, uncrowded, close to town and other spots and with a chilled group of locals and beach side accomodation, a premium in SL at the moment!
