- I'm going to Indo for the first time this June. 16 and traveling with the fam. Any advice on what to brin and what not to? Was going to bring a small wave board but am questioning whether to bring one at all considering the swells that hit during the time I'm going.

re: Thieves. - To the poster below:

when you say "thongs", I sincerely hope you are talking about sandals. The thought of islanders digging thru the sand looking for used, dirty G-strings is enough to make me toss.

Thieves. - Whatever you do, do not leave anything on the beach. Left a bag on the beach for 40 mins at 6 in the morn and wuz gone. Heard stories of guys walking down in thongs, burying them in the sand and watching guys missioning round, trying to dig them up.

Sticky Fingers - Watch your stuff here. Better yet, don't bring any. If you buried a stone, someone would dig it up and steal it. The theft in the Lakey Peak region was out of control compared to the rest of Indo.

Dangerous - Watch out for Tiger Sharks cruising the lineup and Crocs in the river.

right conditions - with the right conditions, it's for sure a tube travel all the way down to the channel. The wave looks like a picture in movement. I caught it with only a friend and a rasta australian, and it was unforgetable.
Peace and barrels for all!!
