Riyuewan - Just had a trip there, yeah impressed got a pumping North swell, nice set up as the windier it got the bigger the swell but the left hand point is sheltered. Warm water and pretty nice and cheap places to stay. Highly recommend it. The only problem is the isolation and getting there if you don't have a car but if you walk about five meters to the highway you can easily flag down a local bus going South to Lingshui or North to Wanning. Taxis to and from Rieyuewan with a board should cost about 300 RMB each way but it is well worth the trip. The beach has a few peaks and there is usually something surfable there even if the point isn't working. No sweep at the point and I just walked out with booties at the lower tides, easiest paddle you could imagine or jump from the rocks. Generally, a great place. Can even ride camels there. Be careful of the local street vendors and barbeque places as we were given fake money twice. Even check the 10s!

ri yue wan - Farkin cranks on an north east or northeast swell...especially right out the end of the point...the inside is very slow and powerless but ignore the guys posts ...flag it on south swells ive had it 5ft square barrels with 3 high performance sections...didnt think i would find a bodyboarders wave here, but i was wrong and there is alot more potential
