English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): There's a suckback to the take off of this wave and man, what a face. Adrenalin rush take off. Another website described the end of this ride as "freight-trains on to a rocky ledge, where it stands up and says, "smack me or you die"." I'm not really sure what this means, but I think I experienced it.
Atmosphère
English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): Nice local boys here. A bit aggressive in the line up, if there was one, but just attack your wave once it's your turn and they'll let you have it. This thing has some power. There's a second section to the wave that I never figured out. I could have dropped in but didn't know if I should, so I pulled out. The third and fourth time I attempted to pull out and ended up on the underwater ride of my life. But those experienced should probably have no problem. Was a really fun wave and I'd love to have another go at it and conquer that second section if I didn't have a wife and kids to think about.
Général
English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): Very fun, great take off, fast ride.

Rocklands local - Lived opposite this spot for a decade. Is for real surfers. At 10+ you have Cape of Storms swell, howling wind, freezing weather and ships being wrecked around you. On Africa’s most jagged rocks. Round the corner the sea’s blasting out promenade barriers and destroying buildings. And the hard core are paddling out.
But OMG/B/A – beware the rocks! They immigrate here to munch surfers. Pick your tides very carefully on any day. The wave's actually more difficult to manage at 3-5ft. You must be exactly in the spot to get pushed into the face. A veering wall jacks and sucks-out shockingly as you plummet into snapping, rocky jaws on the bottom turn. If you survive, creep back up the shoulder and stay high, your best chance of a barrel. At 6+ it breaks further out with a softer drop. Get a bay-wave to the beach, the ride of your life, and kick out next to a bikini-babe who couldn't care less. For the few knee-boarders, it's heaven. Some surf here and nowhere else, and have done so for 30 years. They know the deep inside better than their girlfriend’s orifices. There's a lot of respect between mates out there. We give each other set waves. That’s coz there’s surfing, and there’s Rocklands. Every local has the scars to prove it. Me, I gotta two inch cross on my forehead. Badge of honour. Come surf our wave if you've done it all, got big balls and hold hands with the Devil. Somerset Hospital is two km down the road, and they know us well.
