Drive to the south-west corner of Mauritius, Go to the Le Morne. Pass all the hotels until the last public beach parking (only one more hotel is left after),swim out opposite the Berjaya Hotel. It is a 20 minute paddle or find a local boat. Many Fly surf and winsurfers are on the laggoon. This gets you to the pass that most people call "one eye". Dinroben - You can also get good waves 2-6 foot lefts in front of the Southern end of the Dinroben Resort. I only surfed it a few times, but it was excellent. When one eye was blown out and Tamarin too small. Its a small, shallow pass - but the water still moves at mid-tides. Most of the hotels have boat people who'll drop you out and collect you.
