English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): When you come from the Taghazoute area you just drive south all the time, pass Tiznit and it will be around 200 kilometres. There are signs. When you arrive in Sidi Ifni, you will see clearly where the rivermouth is, and then there is the wave when the swell is there.
descend the old spanish stairs of the town of sidi ifni and you're there.

English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): The spot is in the center, when you want to camp close by, there is a camping which is almost for free a bit more south into the city along the cliffs overlooking the ocean. Before you go into the water, look and smell for pollution, then sometimes there is this ugly sewer-waste, which you for sure get sick from. Also look out for big rips with the change of tides and when there flows a lot of water out of the river.
English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): Because it is more south than the most people would go, it is more relaxed and less crowded. very nice locals. It just to be a spanish settlement. South of the town, in the harbour is a other spot. It works when it is big though only. From the harbourwall breaks a right wave into deeper water and also in front of the reef.
very nice spot, they caught a 3m white shark here a couple of years ago, a lot of people know the spot better than me i think and could give better swell and wind indications, the basic feeling was very nice, both locals and internationals surf here, there are thre waves here, a right, a beachbrake out front and a left, i am a clumsy surfer but i did manage to get the right wave once
the town is not so big so there is hardly any hassle.
English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): Just let yourself go into their culture, in their way of living, usually makes things more easy and you will have better contact with the people who live there. Makeen Mouskien.
- good spot, easy going feeling

i miss this special place - hello people, i want to say i miss sidi ifni. i have been there 4 times now over the last 15 years. this village is beautiful, the people who live there are special. they are really good people. i have been to other places, but i miss the nice people of sidi ifni. special greatings to abdullah, brahim and ishaim. as i have heard, mustafa, the pompier is in layoune now. go to the hammam with the old woman, just near the spanish stairs, this is local tradition. sidi ifni, i miss you. i've heard some kiwi guy named jiah, i know, visited you this year. i am jealous. for the surfers: go other places, leave the locals alone down there. for other visitors, i suggest to go there, it's really beautiful.
respect to the beautiful people of sidi ifni.
