ead north out of Speightstown on the highway 1B. Make sure you keep left on the highway when it splits or you'll end up at the roundabout at St. Lucy Parish Church, if that happens, just knock a hard left at the roundabout and it'll bring you back to the cement plant.

If you keep left, you'll eventually pass the cement plant on your left. About 1/4 mile past the plant take a left on "Maycocks Terrace Rd.," there is a street sign for it on a telephone pole.

Follow Maycocks Terrace Rd. for a mile or two, you'll go around a bend and then there is a little shop called "Roachies," there is a sign for that, too. It kind of doesn't look like a store, so just look for the sign on your left.

Take a left at the corner where Roachies is, follow that straight 'til it dead ends.

Park your car. Get out out and walk out on the left side of the dead end into the field and you'll pick up a footpath that'll take you down through the woods and to the break.

Actually Finding Maycocks - Ok...I just got back from an amazing trip to Barbados where i was lucky to catch an epic NW swell at Maycocks. However, the directions posted to find this place aren't the greatest, so I thought I'd save others the trouble I experienced finding it.

Head north out of Speightstown on the highway 1B. Make sure you keep left on the highway when it splits or you'll end up at the roundabout at St. Lucy Parish Church, if that happens, just knock a hard left at the roundabout and it'll bring you back to the cement plant.

Enjoy!

Jeffrey the thief - Maycocks is very nice but watch your stuff on the beach. Don't bring a bag. There is a guy named Jefferson( Jeffrey) Brums. He is a thief. He spends is day there going around and stealing stuff. He is 16 years old, 5'8, cross tattoo on his right lower arm and another tattoo on his left shoulder. He will talk to you and try to be friendly and then snag your stuff. Just bring a towel and kick his ass if you see him.

Finding Maycocks - Continue north thru Speightstown along the coast. After climbing a bit, you're on a low plateau about 100 feet above the ocean, with the escapment cliffs defining the west edge. Go around past the Arawak cement plant and take a left after the local store/rum bar. Go back in past the houses and drive thru a field to where the road heads downhill toward the beach. Park there unless you've got 4 wheel drive with high clearance. It's about 200 yards.
