Punta Rosarito? - Anyone surfed here in the winter? any information on this spot would be very much appreciated. Crowds? Banditos? Preferred swell direction? Corrupt Federalis? Camping hazards? ETC.

Flying - There are so many people who surf and so many who are doing other sports which require flying their equipment around So why does someone create a forum which boycott those airline such as Continental, Iberia, Delta, Lufthansa, United American etc'

We should embrace airlines such as "Air New Zealand" "British Airways" and other wonderful airlines which let us do our sport free of charge as it should be. Look at http://www.boycottdelta.org Delta one of the biggest thives is already being boycott.

Sure there is surf in Erendira - Just got back from Turkey day there...uh not sure where you tried but there are many good breaks there.

Why do the big guys from NorCal (Mavs) come here? Cause in late Dec and Jan the river mouth has been known to break 25-30ft.

No joke - it's one of the largest waves on the west coast.

if you mean ejido erendira, don't bother - its nice out there, but I've never caught worth a darn and you're kind of trapped, no other places to check and its only one way in and out. you should try cuatro casas and san jacinto (freighters), those spots are alway fun in winter and its an easy drive to other spots and fish tacos in camalu. if you really want an experience, get down to santa rosalallita and drive north to cordon, negra, cono, etc. roslallita probably won't be breaking due to swell direction and the monstrosity of a break water they are building. good luck!

Driving to Puerto?? - I'm thinking of driving from San Diego down to Puerto Escondido and , of course, surfing as much as possible. Anybody been there and done that? Any advice, books, or maps would be appreciated.
