Chennai trip - I am travelling Chennai End of Sept to Mid Oct for business. Looks like there's a surf break near Chennai. Is there any place that I can rent a board instead of shipping it from here ?

- Small Right Hander, Breaks On Sand, Some other beach breaks north near Ideal Beach Resort (great hotel $80). Local fishermans sons surf of planks of wood, please take old board for them they surf north of Ideal Beach Resort. If you go to Maldives you can side trip to Chennai from Columbo for AUD $170 return, then bus or taxi to Mallalapuram (plenty cheap places to stay when you get there).
