How cold? - How cold does the water get in wintertime? I doubt it really gets down to 52F. Would my 5/3 be too warm in winter?

when will the swells pick up?! - i just moved here from washington state and thought the surf was good so brought my board i have been to this "big wave bay" twice and been completly dissapointed i need to know where the good spots are and when to go!!!!!!!

rentals found - i have been looking for board rentals in HK for time! every where will tell you that no where rents them.
But mate thats bollocks tai long bay right next to shek o there are two or three rentals and boards sellers. The rentals are the best but mate they fucking do the trick.

- hey ed mate, and all other surfers in HK for that matter, ive been down in foshan about 4 hours away for the past six months and not been able to get down to surf any other breaks. any locals wanna drop us an email would be most appreciated. Im movin to shenzhen which is like right next to HK, into getting a groove on again, its been too long. Oh and anywhere i can rent boards?
