Surfboards & Morocco - Hi there. I'm off to Morocco for the first time - flying Dublin-Frankfurt-Casablanca.The ticket cost €300 but they'd like me to pay €200 to bring my shortboard along!I'm only going for 9 days with my girlfriend so at best I'd only get about 3-4 days surfing in. I wonder if there's any chance of renting/buying a decent board there? We're going to stick to the North coast, but I don't know if it is worth trying to post a board home if I find one. Pity Lufthansa are such greedy bastards, I flew Dublin-London-Singapore in 2002 with 4 boards and BA didn't charge anything!

Morocco late sept- december - hey fellow travelers, im going on a trip to morocco's south west coast in sept for 2 months, been out there before, had a sick time, wondered if anyone wanted to hook up for surfs in the taghazoute agadir areas, surfers of all abilities, ( not beginers that are going to drown though) anyways post back. safe.

need a board! - Am travelling ou to North east morocco this weekend and am hoping to find a surf shop or two that will rent me out a board and possibly a wetsuit. Am flying out with a budget airline and have heard many a horror story about them riding over boards with baggage handlers and breaking them :(. Any help would be well aprecciated. PEACE YO!

Rent a surfboard in morocco - frankly there are few surfshops so only a few surfboard out there to rent.! but needless to say that I remommand you bring your own board.

heading to morocco in october - i´m an aussie heading down to morocco and looking to rent out a apartment/room somewhere in october for a month,looking to stay around essaouira,and drive depending on the swell,anyone with tips on accomodation or a smaller town to hang out around that time of year,please send me a line,thanks jeff
