English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): very fical..but when breaks...very heavy but epic..kinda like maccaroni..but longer.....a mission and you gotta know when how and have swell...and medication..no running water or power on land..the country is wrecked...and thats by african standards
Atmosphère
English (Traduisez ce texte en Français): intense wave... very fast, but very fickle, as it needs prefect conditions. It turns on and off very quickly, as the tidal range is big and the wind effects it. The wind is like clockwork in this area. Every afternoon it picks up from 2pm from the SE, so you need to time it that you get there with a high tide in the afternoon. We had it perfect, with spring high at 4pm and low at about 11-ish, which is perfect time for Jellie-babies, which gets really good on a larger swell on spring low. You need good local knowledge.

You'll spoil it for yourself.. If you want comfort and zero risk then go somewhere with better parking. Don't come here if surfing is all you want cos the waves can get pretty lame - Ive have made a few attempts to score waves further south and get skunked by sandstorms and wind every time. Woke up buried in sand in me own tent once- thought my gear had been nicked! Crikey!
