Description:
Went down for a mid-morning session at San Bartolo. Had planned on getting down there much earlier, but didn't wake up early enough. By 10:30am when I got down there, there was a bit of wind and by the time I got in the water is was quite windy and choppy.
It was my first session back in the water after over a week of battling the flu. The salt water helped clear out my sinuses real well.
Had a couple wipe outs as I figured out how to catch a wave again ;) But at the end I caught a real nice ride where I almost managed to turn. I rode it in most all of the way to the rocks and then headed in.
Nothing too special, but nice to be back in the water. Though there was quite a bit of plastic and other trash in the water :(
