I live in the Central Valley and looking for some advice on where the good places are, I don't have my own board so I'll have to be renting one.

Does anyone have any good tips for places for me to go?

Monterey is great they have a cute rental shop just in Pacific Grove and they do multi day rentals for pretty cheap. Santa Cruz of course is a great place to go. Go camp out on Manressa beach then they have the Santa cruz surf shop for renting and a few others. Then Pacifica is great as well and I know they have rental shops down there as well if you are more in the San Fransisco area. If you head down Northern California of course. Really in Cali there are rentals everywhere.

Malibu also at least as far as rentals go they have a really cool place that is just by the pier. Hope that helps.
